Tinnitus, een bijeffect van lawaaischade

Samenvatting

Lawaaislechthorendheid gaat in 25–60% van de gevallen gepaard met oorsuizen (tinnitus). Het treedt meestal op na het 45e levensjaar. Tinnitus kan als symptoom overigens aanwezig zijn zonder dat er schade is. Bij het NCvB zijn meldingen bekend van tinnitus zonder gehoorschade bij musici.
