Samenvatting

Bij functional capacity evaluation (FCE) wordt met een gestandaardiseerde testbatterij een inschatting gemaakt van de fysieke functionele mogelijkheden van een werknemer. Deze functietests zijn gebaseerd op het kunnen uitvoeren van werkgerelateerde activiteiten (o.a. lopen, tillen/dragen, kruipen, draaien) in een specifieke houding (o.a. staand, zittend, gebogen) en met een bepaalde duur. Bijzondere aandacht wordt vaak besteed aan hand- en vingervaardigheid.
