De CAD/CAM-brug door de tandarts (2)

Samenvatting

In het voorgaande artikel is het composiet bouwmodel voor een anterieure CAD/CAM-brug beschreven waarbij de tandarts zelf bij de patiënt het ontwerp van de brug maakt. Het bouwmodel in de vorm van een tijdelijke composiet brug wordt gedigitaliseerd door het te scannen met een laserstraal (Cercon- en Cerec-technologie). Het nu digitale ontwerp wordt computerondersteund geoptimaliseerd (computer aided design - CAD) en de brug wordt vervolgens computerondersteund geproduceerd (computer aided manufacturing - CAM).

In deze onderzoeksbijdrage gaan we aan de slag met een posterieure brug.
