Tijdens de implantatieoperatie moet de tandarts eigenlijk de mogelijkheid geboden worden om de positie van het abutment te kunnen passen. Voor dat doel is door BioComp, de Nederlandse producent van implantaten, een pasabutment ontwikkeld.
