De warme verticale condensatietechniek is om verschillende redenen te prefereren boven de traditionele koude laterale condensatietechniek: sneller, betere vulling van de kanalen, minimaal risico op wortelfractuur en de vulling met guttapercha kan worden gestopt op het gewenste niveau voor het plaatsen van een wortelkanaalstift.
