Samenvatting
Mensen met multiple sclerose (ms) ervaren gevolgen van deze chronische aandoening die niet alleen te maken hebben met het fysiek functioneren, maar ook met beperkingen in iemands handelen en belemmeringen in de deelname aan het maatschappelijke leven. Hulpverleners zijn zich er in toenemende mate van bewust dat mensen met ms waarschijnlijk de meeste baat hebben bij een geïntegreerde aanpak van deze gezondheidsproblemen. Ook groeit het inzicht dat er verschil bestaat tussen de objectieve functioneringsproblemen en de subjectieve beleving van deze problemen.

msip Beleving van functioneringsproblemen (bf) versie
De bf-vraag voor elk functioneringsprobleem is:
‘Ervaart u dit functioneringsprobleem als een probleem?’
Antwoordmogelijkheden zijn:
0 = nee, nooit
1 = ja, soms
2 = ja, vaak
3 = ja, altijd
bf-vragen zijn direct gekoppeld aan elke afzonderlijke msip-functioneringsprobleemvraag. Alleen wanneer een functioneringsprobleem gerapporteerd wordt, wordt de patiënt gevraagd de bijbehorende bf-vraag te beantwoorden en aan te geven in welke mate dat specifieke functioneringsprobleem als een probleem ervaren wordt. Wanneer een patiënt aangeeft geen functioneringsprobleem te ervaren kan de bf vraag worden overgeslagen.
