Samenvatting

De vraag of het gunstige effect van percutane coronaire interventie (PCI) in vergelijking met fibrinolyse ook aanwezig is bij patiënten met diabetes mellitus is beantwoord met behulp van een literatuuronderzoek. In de periode 1990 tot december 2002 zijn alle artikelen opgezocht met als onderwerp: onderzoek naar de waarde van PCI (al dan niet met stent) vergeleken met fibrinolyse bij mensen met diabetes mellitus
