Vergelijking van pleeggezinnen en ‘eigen kind’-gezinnen

Samenvatting

In een longitudinaal onderzoek werd de ontwikkeling in overeenstemming tussen pleegouders en hun pleegkind gemeten op de ‘cross-informant items’ van de cbcl 4-18 en de ysr. Als referentiekader gold een niet-klinische groep van ‘eigen kind’-gezinnen zonder hulpverleningsindicatie. Tussen de groepen bleek alleen op Totale problemen verschil in overeenstemming te bestaan, met voor de ‘eigen kind’-groep een grotere mate van overeenstemming. Binnen de ‘eigen kind’-groep bleef over de onderzoeksperiode de overeenstemming stabiel voor de schalen Internaliseren, Externaliseren en Totale problemen, maar binnen de pleegzorggroep was de overeenstemming alleen stabiel voor de schaal Externaliseren. Bij afgebroken pleegzorgplaatsingen was op Internaliseren gemiddeld sprake van een grotere mate van discordantie dan bij de nog lopende pleegzorgplaatsingen.
