Samenvatting
Dermatomycosen, infecties van huid, haren of nagels, zijn de meest gepresenteerde mycosen in de huisartsenpraktijk. Voor de huisartsgeneeskunde is een aantal nieuwe antimycotica voor lokaal gebruik ontwikkeld, de morfolinederivaten. Deze zijn in Nederland nog niet geregistreerd, maar de huisarts zal uit de tweede lijn steeds vaker patiënten terugverwezen krijgen die een therapeutische of profylactische behandeling krijgen met andere nieuwe orale antimycotica, zoals posaconazol of voriconazol. Kennis over de werking en toepassing van deze middelen is dus ook voor de huisarts van belang.
