Samenvatting

De auteurs hebben eerder een artikel gewijd aan acht patiënten met een ‘snapping hip’. Bij al deze patiënten kon een positieve diagnostische test worden opgewekt, te weten: flexie van het heupgewricht met de knie in extensie en de heup in adductie produceert een scherp knappend geluid. Bij alle acht patiënten verdwenen de symptomen na een verlengingsoperatie van de fascia lata.
