Samenvatting

Enterocolitis necroticans is de meest voorkomende levensbedreigende maag-darm aandoening bij te vroeg geboren baby's. Terwijl veel van deze baby's reageren op medicamenteuze behandeling, is bij 40 tot 50 procent van de gevallen oriënterende laparotomie noodzakelijk.
