Samenvatting

In de meeste rapporten over knie-artroplastieken en het effect ervan op pijn, stabiliteit en mobiliteit is de follow-up betrekkelijk gering. Het percentage mislukkingen op lange termijn en de kans op een succesvolle hersteloperatie (met een nieuwe prothese of door een artrodese) zijn echter ook van belang.
