Abstract
Met maxillofaciale chirurgie kunnen een aantal afwijkingen van de harde en zachte weefsels in het orale en maxillofaciale gebied gecorrigeerd worden. Deze afwijkingen kunnen aangeboren, maar ook ontstaan zijn door trauma’s of ziektes. Ter behandeling van deze aandoeningen heeft Nobel Biocare het Maxillofaciaal Concept voor de planning van implantaatgedragen maxillofaciale reconstructies gelanceerd.
