Abstract

Ruim honderd jaar geleden vond niet alleen de ziektekiemtheorie algemene acceptatie, maar ook Darwins evolutietheorie. Zo was men in staat om de eeuwenoude strijd tussen mens en besmettelijke ziekten in het kader van natuurlijke selectie te analyseren.
