De noodzaak van het (gedeeltelijk) omvatten van resterend tandweefsel door een kroon wordt wel de ‘ferrulerule’ genoemd. Onderzoekers uit de Verenigde Staten, Duitsland, Brazilië en Turkije gingen na of deze vuistregel op feiten berust. Een overzicht.
