Samenvatting

In een recent persbericht van de Raad voor de Volksgezondheid & Zorg staat onomwonden dat de AWBZ moet verdwijnen. Veel tandartsen zullen dat niet erg vinden, want de AWBZ is bij hen onbekend. Toch maken heel wat mensen aanspraak op tandheelkundige zorg in het kader van de AWBZ. Die patiënten verblijven veelal in instellingen of verpleeghuizen. Vandaar dat de meeste tandartsen hen over het hoofd zien.
