Abstract
De patiëntgeoriënteerde behandeling gaat ervan uit dat de esthetiek van veel grotere betekenis voor de patiënt-tevredenheid is dan tot dusver werd aangenomen. Voor de prothetiek vertaalt deze behandelingsfilosofie zich in het concept van de onzichtbare prothese. Het moet voor de prothesedrager mogelijk zijn voor iedereen geheim te houden dat hij een gebitsprothese draagt.
