Samenvatting

In PsychoPraxis (2000 p 310-315) werd uitgebreid aandacht geschonken aan het syndroom van Munchhausen by proxy (mbp). Daaruit bleek dat de aanpak van deze vorm van kindermishandeling - ook al vanwege de juridische risico's - een lastige zaak is. Voor zowel het beschermen van de belangen van de betrokkenen als die van het ziekenhuis(personeel) pleiten sommigen dan ook voor het opstellen van een protocol
