Samenvatting

Bestaan transities in de ontwikkeling van het gedrag van baby's of bestaan ze niet? Kalverboer heeft in zijn boeiende overzichtsartikel in dit tijdschrift duidelijk aangegeven dat het laatste woord over dit onderwerp nog niet is geschreven. Waardoor bestaat er zoveel onduidelijkheid over een onderwerp waar wetenschappers al tientallen jaren op broeden? Kalverboer schrijft dat het een kwestie van meten is: wat, wanneer en hoe. Ik haak aan bij zijn conclusies.
