Samenvatting
Dit artikel omvat documentatie van research naar verminderde kracht en propriocepsis bij patiënten met arthritis. Beide zijn componenten van het evenwicht, maar er bestond nog geen onderzoeksdocumentatie betreffende verstoringen van het evenwicht. In dit onderzoek werd het evenwicht in stand bij een groep volwassen patiënten met osteoarthritis getest. De osteoarthritisgroep (N = 11) en de controlegroep die bestond uit mensen van dezelfde leeftijd (N = 10) werd getest volgens het 9 ‘Balance System’ [Evenwichtssysteem].
