De afwezigheid van oppervlakkige buikreflexen bij kinderen met scoliose

Samenvatting

Beschreven worden twaalf kinderen met een idiopathische scoliose die bij het neurologische routine-onderzoek een aanhoudende afwezigheid van de oppervlakkige buikreflex (obr) hadden. mri- onderzoek toonde bij tien van hen syringomyelie aan. De gemiddelde leeftijd waarop de scoliose ontdekt werd was 4,3 jaar en wat betreft de diagnose syringomyelie 6,6 jaar.
