Samenvatting
Er bestaat zeer veel literatuur over aandoeningen van de knie, met name wat betreft het tibiofemorale en patellofemorale gewricht. Ook hebben de meeste therapeuten ooit wel eens ‘laterale kniepijn’ behandeld, vooral bij hardlopers. De diagnose varieert daarbij van een laterale meniscus-aandoening, tractus iliotibialis-syndroom, laesie van de laterale collateraalband tot lateraal-kniepijnsyndroom.
