Er is gerapporteerd dat oogklachten of visusstoornissen verband kunnen houden met een whiplash, maar er bestond geen wetenschappelijk onderzoek waarin concrete patiëntenverslagen waren bekeken. In deze studie werden verschillende aspecten van de oogfunctie bekeken bij proefpersonen met een whiplash, proefpersonen met een niet-specifiek nekletsel en een controlegroep.
