Dit boek is verschenen als nummer 7 in de reeks ‘Groepspraktijk’. De serie behandelt verschillende variaties in groepstherapie. Ditmaal wordt de variant van Davanloos Intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy (ISTDP) beschreven. De ISTPD werd oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld als een dyadische, ambulante therapievorm. Cornelissen beschrijft een klinische variant in een groepspsychotherapeutische setting van psychotherapeutisch centrum ‘De Viersprong’.
