Samenvatting
In de openingslezingen werd een overzicht gegeven van de stand van zaken in het veld van de psychotherapie. De tegenstellingen nature versus nurture en ‘biologische’ versus ’psychotherapeutische’ behandelingen blijken achterhaald. De komende jaren zal de nadruk liggen op de interactie tussen biologische, psychologische en sociale factoren. De hechtingstheorie biedt hierbij belangrijke aanknopingspunten. Verder zal meer aandacht gericht worden op evidence based behandelingen en de kosteneffectiviteit.
