Summary

Based on two case-reports, we describe the clinical presentation of children with symptomatic generalised joint hypermobility and generalised stiffness of the joints. Aspects of differential diagnostics as well as the clinical implications are highlighted.

Aan de hand van twee casussen beschrijven we de klinische presentatie van kinderen met symptomatische gegeneraliseerde gewrichtshypermobiliteit en gegeneraliseerde stijfheid van gewrichten. Daarnaast worden aspecten van differentiaaldiagnostiek belicht. De klinische betekenis van gegeneraliseerde gewrichtshypermobiliteit en gegeneraliseerde stijfheid van gewrichten wordt besproken.
