Een Nederlandse versie van Rothbarts ‘Children's Behavior Questionnaire’

Interne consistentie en driefactorenmodel van de subschalen

Abstract

Children's Behavior Questionnaire (cbq) is een gedragsvragenlijst ontwikkeld door Rothbart conform haar reactief en zelfregulatief model van temperament, die een gedifferentieerd beeld geeft van temperament van drie- tot zevenjarigen. Een Nederlandse cbq-versie werd afgenomen bij 71 moeders van acht- en negenjarigen. De interne consistentie van de subschalen bleek voldoende, al bleken vier subschalen minder betrouwbaar. De factoranalyse op vijftien cbq-subschalen toonde drie tweedeordefactoren, zoals bij Rothbart: Extraversion/Surgency, Effortful Control en Negative Affectivity. Opvallend zijn de bij ons meer uitgesproken ladingen op Effortful Control: mogelijk weerspiegelen die ontwikkelingsveranderingen in de zelfregulatie. Verdere validatie van de Nederlandse cbq blijft noodzakelijk.
