Samenvatting

Pedagogiek is lang een driestromenland geweest van geesteswetenschappelijke, empirisch–analytische en kritisch–emancipatorische benaderingen, waarbij vooral de kritische pedagogiek een integratie nastreefde tussen de drie stromingen. In de jaren negentig is duidelijk geworden dat een streven naar eenheid moet worden prijsgegeven aan een toenemende en positief te waarderen pluraliteit in de pedagogiek.
