Samenvatting

Het onderzoek naar gehechtheid is de laatste vijf jaar in een stroomversnelling terechtgekomen. Sciëntometrisch onderzoek van het Leidse Centrum voor Wetenschapsstudies laat zien dat gehechtheid een onderwerp is dat in de jaren negentig internationaal beduidend meer aandacht trekt dan in de jaren tachtig, en in vergelijking tot andere gedragswetenschappelijke onderwerpen meer in de belangstelling is komen te staan. Hierbij blijven de Nederlandse onderzoeksinspanningen niet achter, zo laat datzelfde wetenschapsonderzoek zien.
