semenvatting

Abstract
Delusional patients who are able to distance from their psychotic symptoms and choose to get involved in rehabilitation, can be treated with Rational Rehabilitation. This treatment combines Role–therapy and Rational–emotive therapy. The ‘objective role’ is learned to control the ‘psychotic role’. Central therapeutic instruments are the translation of delusional theme's into everyday language and behaviour, and the changing of external attributions of anxiety and uncertainty into internal attributions.
