Samenvatting

De klassieke perforerende hoornvliestransplantatie heeft concurrentie gekregen van laagsgewijze (lamellaire) technieken en ook de behandeling van refractieafwijkingen met behulp van lasertechnieken is volop in ontwikkeling. Bij grotere refractieafwijkingen is intraoculaire lensimplantatie een mogelijkheid.
