Samenvatting

Reeds in het hoofdstuk ‘De werkplek’ is een aantal aandachtspunten gegeven met betrekking tot omgevingsfactoren. In dit hoofdstuk wordt dieper ingegaan op de omstandigheden waarin mensen kunnen verblijven en die uiteindelijk leiden tot aandoeningen. Naast warmte en koude wordt nader ingegaan op aspecten als verdrinking, beknelling, straling, explosies, gevaarlijke stoffen. Intoxicaties worden apart besproken in hoofdstuk 16 van het boek ‘Spoedeisende hulpverlening’.
