Samenvatting

De werkzaamheid van de thiazolidinedionen bij de handhaving van normale glucosewaarden is niet bekend, terwijl deze van andere orale bloedglucoseverlagende geneesmiddelen, zoals het biguanide metformine en het sulfonylureumderivaat glyburide, wel bekend is.
