Effectiviteit van naaldloze toediening van recombinant humaan groeihormoon bij volwassenen met een groeihormoondeficiëntie

Samenvatting

Recombinant humaan groeihormoon (rhGH, somatropine) wordt zowel bij kinderen als volwassenen met een groeihormoondeficiëntie (GHD) toegepast, meestal in de vorm van een subcutane injectie. Dit kan bij patiënten met een naaldfobie leiden tot slechte therapietrouw. Een naaldloos transdermaal systeem, waarbij rhGH onder hoge druk subcutaan wordt ingebracht, zou in dat geval uitkomst kunnen bieden.
