Samenvatting

Circa 50% van de vijf miljoen patiënten met hartfalen in de Verenigde Staten heeft diastolisch hartfalen, gedefinieerd als klinisch hartfalen met een (bijna) normale ejectiefractie (LVEF), dat wil zeggen van > 45%.
