Azitromycine bij pityriasis rosea?

Samenvatting

Pityriasis rosea (PR) is een acute dermatitis die regelmatig voorkomt bij kinderen en adolescenten, vooral in voor- en najaar. De primaire laesie is de ‘plaquemère’, een ovale iets schilferende laesie met een diameter van 2 à 5 cm. Na enkele dagen ontstaan de symmetrisch op de romp gelokaliseerde lenticulair tot nummulair grote ovale erythemateuze maculae met fijne schilfering. Iedere huisarts kent dit vrij typische beeld.
