Mogelijke interactie van acetylsalicylaat met ACE-remmers bij hartfalen

Samenvatting

Kan een ACE-remmer zonder problemen met acetylsalicylaat (acetylsalicylzuur) worden gecombineerd? Die vraag is gerechtvaardigd, want miljoenen mensen, vooral bejaarden, worden wegens hartfalen én coronairziekte met beide middelen tegelijk behandeld. Hall et al. zagen dat de hemodynamische effecten van de ACE-remmer verminderd werden door de combinatie met acetylsalicylzuur omdat acetylsalicylzuur de retentie van water en zout bevordert
