Samenvatting
Angineuze klachten in rust die langer dan 20 minuten duren, een ST-elevatie in ten minste twee precordiale afleidingen (stemi) of een recent ontstaan linkerbundeltakblok zijn tekenen van een infarct in ontwikkeling door trombusvorming op een arteriosclerotische plaque. Door percutane hartkatheterisatie met fibrinolyse (PCI) kan de flow in het tromboserende kransvat geheel of gedeeltelijk worden hersteld, mits dit binnen 12 uur na de eerste symptomen gebeurt.
