Samenvatting

Hyperactiviteit en onoplettendheid zijn bekende verschijnselen bij kinderen met autisme en pervasive developmental disorder (PPD). Het doel van dit zeer uitvoerig beschreven en nauwkeurig uitgevoerde onderzoek, volgens een gerandomiseerd, gecontroleerd, dubbelblind, crossover model, gevolgd door een open vervolgonderzoek, was om de effectiviteit en veiligheid vast te stellen van methylfenidaathydrochloride (M) bij kinderen met PPD en hyperactiviteit.
