Samenvatting

Naar aanleiding van de Vioxx-affaire heeft de auteur, zelf adviseur bij een farmaceutische firma, gepoogd hoe men de relatie van onderzoekers, voorschrijvers, afleveraars en gebruikers (patiëntenverenigingen) met de farma-industrie meer transparant kan maken. Hij doet een aantal ethische suggesties, die de lezer, als hij tot een van de bovengenoemde groepen behoort, ter harte zou moeten nemen.
