Samenvatting

Door de toegenomen levensverwachting zullen ouderen een steeds groter aandeel vormen binnen de totale bevolking. Neurologische ziekten, hart- en vaatziekten en kanker komen bij ouderen frequent voor. Het veilig en effectief voorschrijven van geneesmiddelen aan deze patiëntengroep zal een uitdaging blijven.
