Samenvatting
De effectiviteit van lage doses acetosal (minder dan 325 mg) op de preventie van vasculaire aandoeningen staat vast. Keerzijde van de medaille is onder meer dat acetosal ulcera kan veroorzaken in de tractus digestivus (meestal maag en duodenum). Die ulcera kunnen complicaties geven in de vorm van bloeding, obstructie of perforatie. Waarom zijn sommige patiënten gevoelig voor de bijwerkingen van acetosal?
