Samenvatting

Door chronisch lithiumgebruik ontstaat vaak een stoornis in het vermogen van de nieren om geconcentreerde urine te maken (nefrogene diabetes insipidus). Dit betekent dat verlies van water doorgaat, ook bij slechte vochtinname of grote vochtverliezen door diarree, braken of transpireren.
