Het doel van een behandeling van stabiele angina pectoris is het verlichten van de pijn op de borst en het voorkomen van het optreden van cardiovasculaire complicaties. Voor de behandeling van angina pectoris bestaan zowel medicamenteuze als niet-medicamenteuze therapieën.
