Steriele ontsteking speelt een belangrijke rol bij astma. Corticosteroïden vormen dus logischerwijze mede de ruggengraat van de medicamenteuze therapie. In hoeverre blijft wat waar is voor chronische behandeling ook overeind bij astmacrises?
