Samenvatting

Volgens de huidige consensus is methotrexaat (MTX) de standaard ‘disease modifying antirheumatic drug’ (DMARD) bij de behandeling van osteoporose, estradiol-pleisters osteoporose, botmassa osteoporosereumatoïde artritis, ofwel alleen of in combinatie met andere DMARD's. Niet alle patiënten verdragen deze geneesmiddelen of vertonen een aanvaardbare therapeutische respons.
