samenvatting

De schrijvers onderzochten de mogelijkheid om met behulp van ketanserine (40 mg/dag) met acetylsalicylzuur (75 mg/dag) pre-eclampsie te voorkomen. Het werkingsmechanisme van ketanserine is een selectieve blokkade van serotonine-2-receptoren en alfa-1-blokkade. Lage doses acetylsalicylzuur remmen de bio-synthese van plaatjes thromboxaan A2.
