NSAID, ulcusprofylaxeNSAID's worden dagelijks aan ongeveer 1% van de bevolking voorgeschreven. Beschadiging van de maagdarmmucosa is in het licht van dit grote aantal individuen de meest voorkomende geneesmiddelbijwerking.
