Samenvatting

De antistolling na diepe veneuze trombose (DVT) wordt meestal na drie tot zes maanden gestaakt. Hoe lang moet de antistolling worden voortgezet wanneer zich bij dezelfde patiënt een eerste recidief voordoet? De vraag betreft uiteraard patiënten met ‘idiopathische’ trombose, dat wil zeggen dat er géén duidelijke oorzaak van buiten (gips bijvoorbeeld) of van binnen (trombofilie) is.
