Samenvatting
Al eerder besteedden we in MFM aandacht aan bèta2-agonisten, astmadodendodelijke astma-aanvallen en de mogelijke rol hierin van fenoterol, astmadodenfenoterol (zie MFM 1990; 28: 208-12). De discussie is de afgelopen jaren nog doorgegaan in diverse tijdschriften. Het goede nieuws is dat de epidemie van astma-doden in Nieuw-Zeeland voorbij is.
